Freshmen Engineers

Big Brother/Sister Program:

Big Brother and Big Sister Project is a mentorship program coordinated by professional societies of the College of Engineering. Each freshman is paired with an upperclassman who will help guide the new student as they learn ropes of University life.

Study Center:

Location: EC 103.

The Study Center is a meeting place of engineering students, both freshmen and upperclassmen. It is a unique study area because it allows students to gather and share knowledge with one common goal in mind- to become a "Javelina Engineer". Many students study in their dorm room or the library but the College of Engineering offers this area so that students may be around other future engineers.

Tutoring is also offered in the Study Center for Math, Chemistry & Physics.
