Financial Aid Information for Concurrently Enrolled Students

Students may receive financial aid from one institution only in a given semester. They must choose which institution will be the home school, Texas A&M University - Kingsville or Del Mar College, based on their degree objective. The school from which the student will be receiving financial aid is identified as the home school. the institution that is not disbursing aid is identified as the host school.

The student will follow these procedures at the host school:

At the host school, the student will register for classes and is responsible for paying tuition and fees in full.

The student will then bring the tuition and fees receipt to the Financial Aid Office and get a Letter of Consortium, which is then taken to the home school Financial Aid Office of the student.

The following procedure will then take place at the home school:

Once the Letter of Consortium has been processed at home school, the student's financial aid will then be adjusted after 12th class day. Financial aid awarded will reflect the student's total enrollment at both institutions and aid will then be disbursed as applicable.

You may visit or call Ms.Maria Elena Pena at the Financial Aid Office in the Harvin Center(Room 263)at Del Mar College. On the Texas    A&M Kingsville campus, you may visit or call Ms. Sharon Saenz at the Financial Aid Office in the Student Union Building.
