Master of Science in Civil Engineering

Requirements of admission to the civil engineering graduate program:

With unconditional status:

  • An undergraduate degree in civil engineering
  • A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 basis
  • A GRE (verbal + quantitative) of 1,000.Also, for international students a TOEFL of 550. (This is not required for international students who obtained their undergraduate degrees in
    the U.S.):

With conditional status:

  An overall undergraduate GPA below 2.6 will not be admitted without having:

  • A GRE of 1000 (verbal + quantitative) or higher
  • A grade point average of 3.0 on the last 60 hours of new undergraduate course work.

There is no admission with conditional status for international students.
