The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites you to explore the program leading to M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering program at Texas A&M University – Kingsville (TAMUK).

iconThe objective of the graduate electrical engineering program at TAMUK is to produce graduates with broad and up-to-date knowledge, skills and judgment, prepared for professional careers in industry and/or further studies that emphasize advanced design, development and research methods.

iconElectrical Engineering (EE) is one of the fastest growing disciplines in science and engineering disciplines. Modern electrical engineering has shown strong combination of traditional electrical engineering with computer engineering in both computer hardware and software, resulting in many positions opening to electrical engineers. Electrical engineering graduates usually command higher starting salaries. Some of the more common of these are: artificial intelligence, communication engineers, computer engineers, computer vision, control engineers, power engineers, instrumentation engineers, digital design engineers, and robotics.
