To further the technology pertaining to
fluid power and motion control, and to advance the professionalism of
those working in the fluid power and motion control field.
History
Founded in 1960, the Fluid Power Society
(FPS) is a non-profit professional individual member organization devoted
to the promotion and advancement of fluid power technology.
Known as the international organization for
fluid power and motion control professionals, it has chapters in major
cities and has student chapters in leading fluid power educational
institutions. The society's services are encompassed in three words:
* Education * Certification * Professionalism for fluid power and motion
control professionals.
Student Membership
Available to any full time student studying
fluid power technology or related engineering curriculum and is enrolled
in a recognized engineering school.
