Mission Statement

The Industrial Technology Department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is committed to providing its graduates with an academically challenging experience that furthers their knowledge and skill to enable them to become critical thinkers for pursuing graduate degrees or rewarding careers related to technology.

The objectives of the program are :

1. Produce graduates who are well prepared to meet the latest challenges for technology related careers in industry, education, business, and government.

2. Offer a high quality of instruction that is accessible to a diverse student population.  

3. Provide a professional environment that fosters collegiality and collaboration among faculty and students.
