Management Scholarships
The Industrial Technology
department currently awards the following scholarships to
Industrial Management
and Industrial Technology
majors.

Alfred F. Gross
Scholarship (Undergraduate)
This is an endowed scholarship
which provides scholarships for students that are officially
majoring in Industrial Technology. A scholarship will be
awarded for $250. All the following
information must be received at least a week before the
beginning of the Fall Semester.
Eligibility
To be eligible to receive this scholarship a student must
meet all of the following criteria.

Have 15 or more hours of
university work.
-
Be currently enrolled in
the College of Engineering as an Industrial Technology
major.
-
Have a 3.5 grade point
average or above.
Documentation
Required
In order to be awarded this scholarship the student must
submit all of the following information by the second week
of the semester:
-
Scholarship application
form.
-
Official transcript.
-
One page paper stating
the need for the scholarship and a list of
extracurricular activities the applicant is involved in.
-
List of financial aid and
other scholarships that have previously been awarded.
-
Take a picture with the
chair of the department as they are awarded the
scholarship.
NOTE: All scholarship
information should be submitted to the Chair of the Industrial
Technology Department.
Alfred F. Gross
Scholarship (Graduate)
This is an endowed
scholarship which provides scholarships for students that
are officially majoring in Industrial Management. A
scholarship will be awarded for $1,000 ($500 for two
semesters). All the following information
must be received at least a week before the beginning of the
Fall Semester.
Eligibility
To be eligible to receive this scholarship a student must
meet all of the following criteria.

Be currently enrolled
in the College of Engineering as an Industrial
Management major.
-
Have a 3.5
undergraduate grade point average or above.
-
Must take Industrial
management course work throughout the duration of the
scholarship.
-
Have three or more
hours of university course work.
Documentation
Required
In order to be awarded this scholarship the student must
submit all of the following information by the second week
of the semester:
-
Scholarship application
form.
-
Official transcript.
-
One page paper stating
the need for the scholarship and a list of
extracurricular activities the applicant is involved
in.
-
List of financial aid
and other scholarships that have previously been
awarded.

Donald G. Haggerton, Jr. & Family
and the
Industrial Technology Department
Joint Scholarship
This scholarship is for
students that are officially majoring in Industrial Technology
and earned a 4.0 grade point average in a semester. An
award of $50 is given to all students who achieve this goal as
long as funds are available.
Eligibility
To be eligible to receive the scholarship a student must
meet all of the the following criteria:

Be currently enrolled in
the College of Engineering as an Industrial Technology
major.
-
Achieve a 4.0 grade point
average.
-
Completed 15 or more
semester credit hours of coursework in that semester.
Documentation
Required
In order to be awarded this scholarship a student must
submit the following:

Scholarship application
form.
-
Official transcript.
NOTE:
Documentation is due by 5:00 Monday of the second week of the
following semester.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers S264
Scholarship
This scholarship is for
students that are officially majoring in Industrial Technology
and are members of the Society of Manufacturing
Engineers. At least one scholarship will be awarded at
the end of each semester for $100. The scholarship will
be awarded to a member who has been an active participant of
all or most SME functions.
Eligibility
To be eligible to receive the scholarship a student must
meet all of the following criteria:

Be currently enrolled in
the College of Engineering as an Industrial Technology
major.
-
Be a member of the
Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
-
Participate in SME S264
functions.
Documentation
Required
In order to be awarded this scholarship a student must
submit the following:
-
Scholarship application
form.
-
Official transcript.
-
One page paper stating
the need for the scholarship and a list of SME functions
attended or other pertinent data.
NOTE:
Documentation is due Monday at 5:00 pm on the fourteenth week
of the semester.

the following scholarships.
Dean's Scholarship Award
This scholarship provides
students enrolled in a major in the College of Engineering a
$300 scholarship for achieving a GPA of 4.0 for a semester.
Eligibility
To be eligible to receive the scholarship a student must
meet all of the the following criteria:

Be currently enrolled in
the College of Engineering.
-
Achieve a 4.0 grade point
average for the semester with a course load of at least
16 credit hours.

College of Engineering Scholarship
This scholarship provides new
beginning freshman $500-1000 a semester.
Eligibility
-
Be in the top 25% of high
school graduating class.
-
Have a composite ACT
score of 26 or higher or its equivalent.
