Online IE Masters Degree Program

 

 

The Online IE Masters Degree program is a fresh initiative taken up by the industrial department in order to make its courses more accessible to students.

 


 

Degree Details

  1. Registrations for this degree will be done with the registration of other IE degrees, i.e. every Spring , Summer or  Fall.

  2. The procedure for registering for courses is the same as for any regular course. (Link provided below)

  3. The Class schedule will be the same as for regular courses.

  4. The Degree Plan is as follows :

     

    Plan II (Project):  36 Credit hours

                 33 Cr. Hr. Coursework + 3 Cr. Hr. Project

     


 

Admission Requirements:

Any holder of a four-year B.S. degree in sciences, mathematics, business or engineering from an accredited institution may enter the program. Additional stem work above the 36 semester hours requisite for the degree may be required by the Graduate Coordinator to insure that students have sufficient background for the courses in their degree plans.

A research or design project and report will be required. This is defined as a research paper or design project produced as a major assignment in a three-semester-hour graduate 5000 level-course or by completing 3 hours of 5305 Research.

 

All candidates in both programs of study must pass a comprehensive examination consisting of an oral defense of the candidate's design/research project and related areas.

  6. Book Store -The university bookstore provides the campus community with new and used textbooks, other course-required materials, and office supplies. The bookstore is open from 7:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, with extended hours at the beginning of each semester.
