About Chemical Engineering Program		  
 
 

Welcome to the Chemical Engineering Program in the Department of Chemical and Natural Gas Engingeering at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

Chemical Engineering graduates from Texas A&M-Kingsville develop new processes, design new plants, supervise the operation of existing plants, and develop new products and markets for the chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical and agricultural chemical industries.

Chemical Engineering

Chemical engineers design equipment and develop processes for manufacturing chemicals and other products. They are also responsible for maintaining efficient operations, making process improvements and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
